Paid plans gain phone-call alerts, and every plan can monitor certificate expiry.

Use a phone call for incidents that need someone to wake up. Verify the recipient’s number and run a test while they are available.
SSL expiry checks count toward your check allowance. Choose how far ahead to receive a warning so certificate renewal can happen during working hours.
